After graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in Chemistry, Chris moved to London to pursue a career in accountancy with Kingston Smith LLP. Chris became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales in 2010 whilst at Kingston Smith and shortly afterward became part of the Corporate Finance team, working his way up to Director level. Chris specialised in providing transaction advice and diligence services to owner managed SME’s.
In 2015 Chris became Managing Director of Accounts and Legal, an accounting and legal services start up with an online route to market. After a successful 3 years at the helm of A+L, Chris saw an opportunity to create an accounting firm that could provide high quality accounting and tax compliance services as well as impactful strategic and business advice to clients and in May 2018, co-founded Multiply Accountancy.
Chris has worked across most sectors, however has a keen interest in property, technology and media and is focused on helping Directors build equity value and achieve their corporate ambitions.
