Peter Courtney is a senior luxury development advisor supporting Lucarna with specialist expertise across hospitality, wellbeing and high-end residential developments. With over 25 years’ experience including most recently the position of Managing Director at Quality Projects UAE part of the Corinthian Hotel Group, Peter has delivered ultra-luxury projects internationally. Peter operates as a trusted client-side representative, ensuring design excellence is translated into commercially and operationally successful assets.
Acting as Project Concierge, Peter provides a single point of responsibility between client, design team, consultants, operators and contractors, safeguarding the client’s interests throughout briefing, design development, procurement, construction and commissioning. His role ensures clarity of decision-making, alignment of stakeholders and protection of programme, budget and quality.
As Design Custodian, Peter captures the project vision at inception and rigorously curates it through every stage of delivery. This continuity is critical within luxury environments, where bespoke detailing, craftsmanship, brand standards and guest experience must be seamlessly integrated.
Peter brings extensive experience in hotel and wellness operator engagement, brand standards alignment, FF&E strategy, commercial negotiations and peer review of design and technical solutions. His involvement enhances Lucarna’s design leadership by providing strategic assurance, delivery intelligence and refined governance—ensuring each project achieves enduring value, operational excellence and an exceptional end-user experience.
